I see the moment before it happens
Event photography means knowing the award recipient is about to hug their mother, and already being in position when it happens. It’s reading a run-of-show once and knowing where the moments will be. I run media for ADAMS, one of the largest Muslim community organizations in the country, and I’ve covered more than 150 events, from board dinners to festivals that fill a fairground.
Banquet halls and conference rooms are hard to light: dim ambience, mixed color from stage rigs and window glare, and speakers who keep moving. I shoot these rooms weekly, so your photos come back sharp and true to color without a flash going off in your guests’ faces.
I also think like an organizer, because I work with organizers every week. You need more than nice pictures. You need the sponsor banner clearly in frame, the VIP handshake, the packed-room wide shot for next year’s promotion, and the whole set delivered while people are still talking about the event.

How fast do we get the photos?

Our venue has terrible lighting. Will the photos still look good?
Yes. Dim banquet halls, colored stage lighting and mixed daylight are the conditions I shoot in every week. I rely on fast lenses and careful positioning first, and use flash sparingly so your guests aren’t blinking through the whole gallery.
Can you photograph religious or gender-separated events appropriately?
It’s the work I do most. I cover prayer spaces, khutbahs and gender-separated programs weekly for ADAMS. I know the etiquette without being briefed, and I can arrange coverage for both sides of a separated event.
Can we get video coverage at the same event?
Yes. A short recap film or full session recordings can be added to any photography booking: one team, one contract, and footage that matches the photos. Mention video in your inquiry and I’ll quote both together.
